Timo Werner has netted two goals to secured the Uefa Champions League spot in his last game for RB Leipzig before switch to Stamford Bridge next month.

The 24-year-old put Leipzig ahead in 28 minutes with sublime strike before Vargas scored equalised goal for Augsburg in 72 minute.

Werner, then scored winner goal in eight minute later to secured Uefa Champions League spot for Leipzig, who finish 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign with third position.

Werner, meanwhile, become their all-time leading goalscorer with 95 goals and 40 assists from 159 appearances.

The two goals, his 34th and 35th in all competitions this season, also helped secure the third-place finish for Leipzig, just three points behind the runners-up Borussia Dortmund.

Both goals illustrate Werner’s best qualities the Chelsea fans can expect to witness next season.
