The defending champions, Bayern Munich have returned to form in sensational fashion, securing a huge win over Lazio in Italy that effectively sealed their spot in the knockout rounds.
Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for Bayern after nine minutes, and Jamal Musiala, 17, got on the scoresheet 15 minutes later to make history.
The teenager struck a fine finish from outside the box, and in doing so made history by becoming the youngest English player to score in the Uefa Champions League at 17 years and 363 days old.
A further strike by Ex-City star Leroy Sane before half-time and an own-goal by Francesco Acerbi effectively ended the tie as a contest, although Joaquin Correa got what will surely be nothing but a consolation for Lazio.
It means Bayern Munich’s chances of defending the trophy they won last season look promising as they attempt to win the seventh European Cup in their history.
