Chelsea are bounced back to winning strike on Saturday evening with a comfortable 3-0 win over threatened-relegation Watford.
The Hornets had set up to defend deep but their plans were ripped up when Olivier Giroud put Frank Lampard’s side ahead after a delicate pass from Ross Barkley.
On the brink of half-time, the Blues gave Watford a mountain to climb when Willian scored from the penalty spot after Christian Pulisic was fouled.
And in the 90th match, Ross Barkley capped a good display with an emphatic finish. Chelsea move up to fourth in the Premier League table in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
