N’Golo Kante Edouard Mendy and Jorginho, all are send lovely message to Chelsea supporters across the continent after trio win big prize in the Uefa Champions League.
Jorginho, who helped Chelsea Champions League and inspired Italy’s Euro 2020 success, was named UEFA men’s player of the year at a ceremony in Istanbul on Thursday, beating his club colleague N’Golo Kante and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne to the prize.
N’Golo Kante, meanwhile,named UEFA Mens Midfielder of the season after helped Thomas Tuchel’s men secured the title last season.
The tireless midfielder named win Man-of-the-match award against Atletico Madrid in the second-leg of round 16 of the competitions.
Kante also won Man-of-the-match award in both semi-final clash against Real Madrid before secured it again in final against Manchester City.
Edouard Mendy, on the other hand, wins UEFA Champions League Goalkeeper Of The Season, after recorded nine clean sheets in the competition last term.
However, after Blues trio win personal prize in the UEFA Champions League, for their performances last term, they all using coverage to send lovely message to Chelsea fans across all the continent.
Jorginho alongside N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy was not in attendance in Istanbul, where the UEFA Champions League draw was held, with Turkey on the UK’s red list meaning obligatory hotel quarantine for anyone returning from there.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel won the men’s coach of the year prize, after the German coach joined the London club towards the end of January and bring in Uefa Champions League glory back to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
