Chelsea defender, Reece James was among Thomas Tuchel’s men who steal the show in Tuesday’s 4-0 win over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.
The Englishman who has been in excellent form since start of the season, showcased series of impressive display against the Italian giants at Stamford Bridge last night.
James, 21, who is aggressive and fast with his back to goal, was a menace going forward and had forced Szczesny into two big saves in the first period before eventually beating him with a venomous strike in the second half.
The England international scored his fifth goal of the season in all competitions with a powerful low finish, which goes alongside his five assists.
James was also involved in the buildup to the fourth Chelsea goal, spraying a lovely pass for Ziyech, who set Werner up for the strike. He was also sound in his defensive duties, hardly letting anything slip by on his side.
So far this term, the Englishman has scored five goals and contributed five assists in all competitions for Chelsea, and become one of only two players to both score 5+ goals and assist 5+ goals in all competitions for Premier League clubs this season, along with Mohamed Salah (16 goals, 7 assists).
