With Mikel Arteta’s squad prepared for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Brighton and Hove Albion, Thomas Partey was seen at London colney smashes Arsenal coach with horror tackle.
The 27-year-old central midfielder, who has endured a mixed season since joining from Atletico Madrid in last summer’s window, appeared to be in high spirits as Gunners aiming of end the campaign in a good fashion.
In a video clip uploaded to club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Instagram page, Partey can be seen wildly lunging into a tackle, wiping out a member of Arsenal coaching staff in the process.
The Gunners midfielder crunching tackle on strength and conditioning coach Sam Wilson but before the clip ends it appears the senior member of staff is okay as he begins to climb back to his feet.
Meanwhile, entirely Gunners squad had a mini celebration in the dressing room this morning for David Luiz, who is set to leave the club after tomorrow’s match against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Brazilian defender is set to leave the Gunners on a free transfer this summer after two eventful years in north London.
And ahead of his last games for the north London club, Luiz was seen in dressing room urging his fellow players to make some noise and give him a rousing send-off before gave a little speech to bid his farewell.
The 34-year-old veterans defender also took his official social media account to post an emotional farewell, with Luiz unlikely to feature against Brighton on Sunday due to injury.
