Yves Bissouma and Nicolas Pepe was seen having a lengthy chat as the pair leave the pitch after full-time whistle in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
Bissouma, 24, has been in excellent form for Graham Potter’s side this season, in which ended the season with the second-highest number of tackle while also netted twice across all competitions.
His sublime season at the AMEX attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, who believed are close to winning the race for Bissouma’s signature.
However, it’s appeared that the rumoured true as the Mali box-to-box midfielder caused at Emirates stadium alongside Nicolas Pepe, who scored two brace goals against the Seagulls.
After the final whistle blew at Emirates stadium, Bissouma hugged his team-mates and fist-bumped the opposing players.
But one player he spent more time with than anyone else was Arsenal’s matchwinner Nicolas Pepe.
The Mali box-to-box midfielder and the Ivorian winger jokingly pushed one another, then put their arms around each other, and were generally smiling and in good spirits.

The pair appeared to share a joke or two and their conversation continued as they made their way to the tunnel.
Pepe was seen pointing to parts of the Emirates with the former Lille midfielder close by his side before going out of view and into the confines of the stadium.
One can only speculate as to what was said by the pair, if Pepe was trying to convince Bissouma, who is a boyhood Arsenal fan and was born in the Ivory Coast, to sign for the north London club.
