Thomas Partey has proved himself as one of best midfielder in the Premier League, after came off the bench to inspired Mikel Arteta’s men secured their first league win of the season with 1-0 victory over Norwich last Saturday.
The 27-year-old endured a mixed season during his debut campaign in England, battle with several injuries problem, with his latest one ruled him out of Arsenal’s first three opening league games.
However, the Ghanaian made instant impact after returned to action against Norwich last Saturday. With Mikel Arteta’s men struggled to break the Canaries back-line, Partey was introduced in the second half of the game and after couple of minutes the midfielder set-up Arsenal’s only goal against Daniel Farke’s side.
The 27-year-old central midfielder claimed somewhat of a pre-pre-pre assist for what turned out to be Aubameyang’s winner goal versus Norwich City at Emirates stadium on Saturday evening.
As spotted in Arsenal’s YouTube highlights of the game, at around the 0.44-minute mark Partey cuts through the Norwich midfield with a crisp pass into the feet of Bukayo Saka.
The 20-year-old is then able to feed Nicolas Pepe who after seeing two efforts kept out by a combination of Tim Krul and the post manages to force the ball into Aubameyang’s path for a simple tap-in.
Partey’s quality pass versus Norwich, showcased if the Ghana international is full fit throughout this campaign, Mikel Arteta’s men enjoyed a marvellous run in the Premier League, and end this season in a positive ways.
