Nuno Tavares has made an eye-catching cameo in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday evening.

The 20-year-old left-back, who joined the north London club from Benfica last summer, started Saturday’s game on the bench.

With 10 minutes to go, Tavares was introduced, – replaced first choice left-back Kieran Tierney, who is appeared to be sustained cramping.

The Portugal Under-21 international continued to delivered solid display in Arsenal’s defensive unit before produced moment of magic in stoppage time of the game.

After winning possession in his own half, Tavares began to dribble forward, bypassed defenders, deleted Jay Rodriguez as if his weren’t there.

He screwed his effort wide but Arsenal fans will be encouraged to see such pro-activeness from their new signing.
