Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a £70 deal to sign highly-rated midfielder Kai Havertz.
The Blues have already secured the signings of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig but boss Frank Lampard still wants to bolster his attacking options with highly-rated playmaker Kai Havertz.
And according to Sky Germany claims that all other suitors like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona for the German star are now out of the race to sign the 21-year-old.

The German side are understood to value Kai Havertz at £90m but, with only two years remaining on his contract, Chelsea are looking to agree an initial fee around £70m, with performance related add-ons also to be included.
Meanwhile, Kai Havertz is understood to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, with the player impressed by the side Frank Lampard is building.
The 21-year-old German star has recently became the first Bundesliga player to reach 35 goals before turning 21, being involved with goals in eight of his last 12 appearances – scoring eight times with four assists.
Havertz, who made seven senior appearances for Germany, scored 17 goals and registered nine assists in 43 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
