Arsenal Under-18 are ended this campaign in a perfect fashion as they defeat their local rivals Chelsea 2-1, in which Miguel Azeez scored a spectacular goal.
Azeez, who involved in first-team training session and matchday squad in several occasions this season, scoring the opening goal for the Gunners youngest side.
The central midfielder collected the ball just inside the Chelsea half. Surprisingly, he was left in acres of space and was given the chance to run at the home side’s defence.
The 18-year-old then went on to beat four defenders before lashing his shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Azeez showed the kind of close control that suggests that he could have attempted to take on several more Chelsea players and still ended up finding the back of the net.
Jack Henry-Francis made it 2-0 in the 43rd minute but they dropped off a little in the second half, with Joe Haigh pulling one back for the hosts in the 68th minute.
