It was another round of international games last night and once again there was a number of Chelsea player on display.
Croatia defeat 2-1 defeat to France in the National League and Olivier Giroud came as a second-half substitute for the winner while Kurt Zouma was unused sub.
For Croatia, Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic came on as a second-half substitute and played the second 45 minutes.
The 26-year-old made an excellent cameo for his country and bossed the midfield. As you see below, he had some very good stats against France last night.
What particularly stands out is he completed 16 out of 17 long ball attempts, which is encouraging to see from him being something that he has needed to improve on.
Kovacic, 26, had a lot of touches and completed 92% of his passes. He also showed battle as usual, winning 5 of 6 of his personal duels. He made the most tackles out of any other player in the match.
