So talented: Watch Hakim Ziyech brilliant performer in Blues 4-0 win over Krasnodar

An impressive Uefa Champions League win against Russian side Krasnodar last night was inspired by the outstanding performances of Hakim Ziyech.

After stepping off the bench in each of Chelsea’s last three matches, Ziyech, who signed from Dutch giants Ajax, was awarded his first start for the Blues, lining up in a front-three alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner.

It was pretty much the perfect night for Frank Lampard, who finally able to give the Morocco international his first start in a Chelsea shirt and was rewarded with a fine display and a goal from the 27-year-old.

The technically gifted Morocco winger was the most creative force on the pitch – the greatest goal threat, and due to outstanding performances he was awarded Man of the match award.

After showing glimpses of his talents down the right flank in the first half the 27-year-old winger opened his goal scoring account for his new club with just over 10 minutes remaining, scoring from close range to fire Chelsea into a commanding 3-0 advantage.

It capped of an excellent night’s work for the technically gifted Morocco attacker, who was replaced by Tammy Abraham just moments later. He showed last night that he can be important player for Chelsea, adding creativity and a goal threat to a forward line that is starting to click after two successive goalless draw.
