Right after half-time, Billy Gilmour won the ball brilliantly off Sheffield United central midfielder Fleck and sent a through ball in the path of Hudson-Odoi once again, only to see it go out for a goal kick.

He exited the field to make way for Hakim Ziyech, who finished off a brilliant counterattack and made it 2-0 for Chelsea on the night to book their place in FA Cup semi-finals.

Gilmour made a positive midfield contribution throughout his stay on the field and Thomas Tuchel will certainly have something to think about with future selections.
