Despite, Frank Lampard’s men clinching a top-four spot in 2019-20 campaign, they are missed N’Golo Kante extraordinary performances due to his injury problems in their midfield park.

The Blues are ranked 10th in the Premier League for goals conceded, with their tally of 54 goals let in 18 more than Manchester United, who finish third in the league table.

N’Golo Kante, who had arguably been Chelsea’s best player after Eden Hazard after arriving from Leicester City in the summer of 2016, has struggled with injuries problems – made 27 appearances in all competitions for west London club last season.

Kante’s impact in the Blues midfield park has been extraordinary would be a rather understatement. In fact, pundits from many corners of English footballing media will insist N’Golo Kante is best as a dynamic, box-to-box player, that may well be true, but what they neglect to mention is concealed within his playbook is an incessant desire to disrupt and dispossess, no matter where he is on the pitch.

His injury problems last campaign as frustrating and there are suggestions that Chelsea may give up on the World Cup winner. And there are at least two clubs interested in the 29-year-old midfielder which are PSG and Real Madrid, while Inter Milan are also entertained the idea of getting Kante to their side.
