So similar: Watch Video Christian Pulisic & Eden Hazard first season at Chelsea

Christian Pulisic’s standout performer for Chelsea in second half of the season has led to inevitable comparisons with Eden Hazard, who left Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid last summer.

The 21-year-old USA skipper, who signed last summer for £57million, came with lofty expectations, but has been riddled with injuries throughout his first nine months in England.

But his remarkable performer towards the end of 2019-20 campaign that was delay due to coronavirus pandemic, made several pundits regarded him as suitable replacement to fill the void left by Eden Hazard.

The American international has blessed with a rare gift in his ability to speed past defenders and create chances for himself and team-mates, even the ex-Dortmund winger’s goal threat is at the same level as Hazard’s was last season.

Pulisic’s pattern of play are similar with Eden Hazard, according to journalist Frank Khalid, who claims the 21-year-old vision to see a difficult pass, he score, dribble, like Hazard, and also has ability to pick a perfect pass.

That is what happened to Eden Hazard, due to his effectiveness in one-versus-one situations, but the USA skipper was reluctant to compare himself with the Belgian star, who netted 110 goals as well as providing 92 assists in his 352 appearances for the club before left Chelsea for Real Madrid last summer.

Last season, the USA international, has netted nine league goals and contributing four assists in 24 games, comparable to Eden Hazard’s first campaign (nine goals and 11 assists in 34 matches) at Stamford Bridge in 2012-13.

Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic has ended his campaign at Stamford Bridge with13 goals and six assists in all competitions.
