England winger Jadon Sancho has delivered an amazing performance on his first start since Bundesliga resumption – hit a hat-trick to down Paderborn to become the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 30 goals.
The 20-year-old has been eased back into Borussia Dortmund starting XI since the resumption from the coronavirus hiatus but he looked explosive with treble against the side bottom of the division.
Thorgan Hazard got the opener while Achraf Hakimi and Marcel Schmelzer added to Sancho’s triple.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves suggested that Dortmund will demand more than £100million before allow Jando Sancho to leave Signal Iduna Park this summer.
Sancho has been on the books of the Bundesliga club since 2017, following a move from Premier League champions Manchester city and is being heavily linked with a return to the Premier League ahead of the next transfer window opening for business.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are leading the chase to sign the hugely talented 20-year-old, who took his tally of Bundesliga goals for the season to 17 on Sunday evening with a breathtaking second half hat-trick against relegation-threatened SC Paderborn, as Dortmund netted six second half goals to win 6-1.
And following scored an hat-trick on Sunday evening former England international Hargreaves believes it would be worth it to see him showcasing his talents in the Premier League.
‘He makes every team better, that’s for sure,’ Hargreaves told BT Sport.
‘Everyone would love to have him. Man United, Man City, Liverpool, I think he’s that good that he gets in all of them.
‘United, Chelsea and Arsenal would all love to have him. It depends on personneland who could afford him?
‘It will cost a lost but he’s a generational talent, truly remarkable with his goals and assists and he can play in different positions.
‘He’s going to cost a lot but he’s worth it, I’d love to see him back in the Premier League.’
