Chelsea’s first goal against Saints was scored by Timo Werner, who was simply magnificent, with so much individual brilliance and a great finish.
His second goal was filthy – to say the least – with a chip over the keeper, which turned an assist from himself to himself. Werner latched on to a long ball over the top from Jorginho, then out muscling a Saint’s defender and lobbing the ball over McCarthy before heading it in on the other side.
