Talented winger Hakim Ziyech has agreed a five-year deal in February with Chelsea starting next season. Recently, the 27-year-old was named as the 2019/20 Player of the Season by his previous club Ajax in his last season with the Dutch giants.
The Morocco international will officially be the first player of the Chelsea rebuild plan under manager Frank Lampard.
This is because of the lack of incoming players due to the transfer ban that the Blues faced in the last summer. Now that the ban is lifted, the west London club have an arsenal of funds that they could use in this Covid-19 hit transfer market.
During his time at Ajax, Ziyech showed the world his real capabilities when the Dutch giants eliminated Real Madrid & Juventus to progress to Uefa Champions League semi-finals before suffered defeats to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
He is definitely one of the best in his position in the world right now as he racked up a staggering 97 goals and registered 123 assists in 282 career appearances for Heerenveen, Twente and Ajax across all competitions and the fans can certainly expect more records to tumble when he completes his move to Chelsea in the summer.
