That means time is of the essence for Mikel Arteta to get his squad back to full fitness ahead of what could be a gruelling tests against Pep Guardiola’s side.
The goods news for Gunners boss is that he will have a near fully-fit squad to choose from in two week’s time, with both Calum Chambers and Lucas Torreira back in training at London Colney following injury spells.
While those two are unlikely to be available for the trip to Etihad stadium due to how much time they have been out for, the rest of Mikel Arteta’s squad look raring to go judging by the latest pictures from training.
