See The Ways John Terry React To Thiago Silva Display Vs Spurs

Chelsea icon John Terry has hailed Thiago Silva after the Brazilian made impressive display in the Blues 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

The veterans defender, who back into starting XI, has been absolutely rock-solid at the back especially in the first half when Nuno Espirito Santo’s men had a few positive moments.

Silva, then, opened the scoring with a towering header four minutes into the second-half before N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger recorded score sheet as the Blues eased to a comfortable victory over their London rivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

After Silva put the Blues ahead with a towering header, ex-Chelsea captain John Terry paid tribute to all three goal scorers on Instagram but reserved special praise for the veteran Brazilian.

The Blues icon wrote: ‘Thiago Silva, what a man, what a player,’ after watching the Chelsea star head his side into the lead before Kante and Rúdigêr netted the remaining goals.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel also praised Silva for his key role in north London.

‘He almost scored twice. He was so strong; Deliveries were good for his goals. We are very happy that he was able to score to open the game for us today.

‘But the performance even in the first half was outstanding, fantastic. Well deserved, he was outstanding today’.
