Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger appeared to be excited after German stars made returned to Cobham training base on Saturday.
The Blues pair was among nine players started pre-season training at Cobham on Saturday as the preparations for 2021-22 campaign shifted up another gear.
Havertz, Rudiger including Timo Werner respected German at Euro 2020 and all are helped the Joachim Low’s men to reach last-16 of the tournament before seeing off by The Three Lions.
N’Golo Kante, Kurt Zouma, Mateo Kovacic including some of the others who were away from Chelsea on loan last season, appeared on the pitch for the first time and they were greeted by Thomas Tuchel.
Clearly these players are behind those who returned from holiday earlier in terms of fitness, so they worked together in their own group. They begin training session with warming up, then the way at the hurdles before all of them taken part in the cones and other series of training session.
Tiemoue Bakayoko, Kenedy and Michy Batshuayi, who spent their last couple of season on loan also received highly welcome back home from Thomas Tuchel.
