Report: Kai Havertz’s agent expecting Chelsea transfer deal done after resolution found

Kai Havertz’s representatives are reportedly confident Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen will strike a deal over his client this summer despite the two sides being at stand-off over the fee.

The German outfit are under no pressure to sell the playmaker and are holding out until their £90million price tag is met.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are not prepared to pay more than £70million after Havertz has asked to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

And according to The Sky Sports claims the 21-year-old’s camp are still confident a deal can be struck as they think bonus payments and add-ons will satisfy both parties.

Chelsea have the cash to buy Kai Havertz out right following the recent sales of Alvaro Morata, Mario Pasalic, and Eden Hazard but Frank Lampard still wants to bolster his defence with a new left-back and centre-half.

The Blues have already secured the signing of Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner for a combined £81m this summer, but boss Frank Lampard is also wants Havertz, who enjoyed a brilliant season with Bayer – scoring 17 goals and contributing nine assists in 43 games across all competitions.
