Report: Coutinho’s agent keen to bring his client to Emirates this summer after Luiz & Soares deal

Philippe Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian is looking to manufacture a move that will see the Brazilian playmaker join Arsenal on loan this summer.

Kia Joorabchian, who is representative for both David Luiz and Cedric Soares has been behind some eye-opening deals at the Emirates recently.

Cedric Soares signed a four-year-deal while David Luiz extended his deal for another year, and following successful of extended his client stay at Emirates stadium, Kia Joorabchian is keen to bring another his client with is Philippe Coutinho to Arsenal this summer.

Coutinho, 28, made the switch from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to Barcelona for an eye-watering £142million in January 2018, signing a deal until 2023.

But the Brazilian failed to live up to expectations at Camp Nou and joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan last summer, where is made impressive starting, scored nine goals and contributing eight assists.

And despite impressive performance in Bundesliga, the German champions have reportedly decided against taking up the option to buy the Brazilian playmaker.

And according To The Mirrors, claims Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian is looking to manufacture a move that will see the Brazilian join Arsenal on loan this summer.

The reports explains in details that if a deal does occur it will require Barcelona to subsidise part of his contract with Gunners set for another year without Champions League football and could yet miss out on the Europa League too, further hitting their revenue stream.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has a serious rebuild his squad by strengthen his midfield options ahead of next campaign and is admirers of Coutinho quality and would certainly benefit the Gunners if they can get him back to his best.

Back in May Kia Joorabchian has confirmed Ex-Liverpool attacking midfielder is ‘definitely’ interested in a return to the Premier League at some point.

‘We’re still waiting until the season finishes before we start talking about anything in terms of transfers,’ he told talkSPORT.

‘I’ve always said that he loves to play in the Premier League.

‘He enjoyed his time very much and if the opportunity arises to come back to the Premier League, whether it be this year or in the future, he’s definitely looking at that.’

Meanwhile, Kia Joorabchian also the representative of Chelsea winger Willian, who is heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months while his relationship with head of football Raul Sanllehi is very close and Technical director Edu also has a long-standing working relationship with the Iranian.
