Report: Chelsea make Kai Havertz and Jadon Sancho transfer decision aim interest from United

Chelsea have reportedly focusing on completing a deal of Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz than Dortmund’s Jando Sancho this summer.

The Blues have been heavily linked with both of the European star as manager Frank Lampard keen to bolster his attacking options to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City ahead of next campaign.

Chelsea have already secured the signed of Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner before summer transfer window reopen.

But boss Frank Lampard is still in market for another attacker and he highlighted both Havertz and Sancho as a potential superstars that can bring more creative to Blues attacking lineup for next campaign.

However, according to The Football London claim, Chelsea are switch their attention in completing a deal of Kai Havertz because their rival Manchester United are made huge attempts in bid to land Dortmund star Jando Sancho.

Despite United identified Sancho as their pursuit for summer transfer window they yet to submit any offer for him as they have informed that the England winger is valued around £115million.

And If Frank Lampard’s & co join the race for the England international’s signature that valuation could rise further.

Football London adds that United’s promise to Sancho that he can become their main man will also be difficult to match.

Instead, the west London outfit would rather try and negotiate a deal for versatile midfielder Kai Havertz, who scored 17 goals and eleven assists in all competitions this term.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen missed out on the Uefa Champions League spots as they finished fifth in the Bundesliga – means Chelsea may be able to strike a deal if the 21-year-old wants to move to play at the highest level.

Even his asking price with around £90million will likely have dropped to around £70million because of the German club failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
