Report: Chelsea made move Monaco star Malamine Efekele who has been dubbed the new Kylian Mbappe

Chelsea have reportedly interested in signing Monaco teenager Malamine Efekele, who has been dubbed the next ‘Kylian Mbappe’.

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe started his career with the French club and 15-year-old winger Efekele is seen as next big talent set to emerge from the Ligue 1 side’s academy.

And according to The French outlet L’Equipe, claims Chelsea have been tracking the 15-year-old’s development and are ready to make move for teenage star.

Malamine Efekele, who turns 16 on July 19, can play on the right or left wing and is labelled as ‘lively’ and ‘very promising’.

There are more connections to Mbappe with the youngster having been coached by the superstar’s father while he trained with AS Bondy.

The report claims Chelsea’s move has been accelerated by Brexit and could go through this summer.

It will be more complicated for clubs to sign foreign minors after January 1, 2021 due to new regulations.

Frank Lampard has been committed to giving youth players a chance since taking over as manager at the start of the season. Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham and Billy Gilmour have all been given opportunities to impress in the first-team.
