Report: Arsenal reach an agreement with Aubameyang over a three-year £250,000-per-week deal

Arsenal are reportedly close to agreeing a new three-year deal with skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

According to The Telegraph, the contract that Arsenal have offered the 31-year-old forward would run until 2023, which would cover the final year of his current deal and extend it by a further two years.

The reports explains in details that Arsenal are drawing up the final contract proposal after positive talks during which verbal promises were made.

Aubameyang’s new deal is set to be worth £250,000-a-week and will also include significant bonuses.

The Gabon international is set to to commit his further at Emirates after being assured that the club will back Mikel Arteta by strengthen their squad during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Willian is reportedly close to joining from Chelsea, while the Gunners are reportedly in advanced talks with Barcelona over Philippe Coutinho deal.

Since he joined from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, Aubameyang has scored 70 goals in 109 games for Arsenal.
