Report: Arsenal in negotiations with Juventus in bid to sign Adrien Rabiot

Arsenal have reportedly in talks with Juventus in bid to sign midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.

The 25-year-old had a tough first season in Italy after his free transfer move there last summer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Rabiot, who struggled to find a place in the first-team under Maurizio Sarri, reportedly had on strike over Juventus’ decision to cut his wages by £7million from £28m due to the coronavirus crisis.

While Adrien Rabiot hit out at those suggestion in a post on his Instagram account that the report is untrue, his future in Italy appears to be uncertain.

And according to French outlet Le10Sport, Rabiot is going to be placed on the transfer list for the summer window as Italian Champions keen to overhaul their squad.

Rabiot, who made 24 appearances in all competitions for Juventus, is attracted interest from the Premier League when he was at PSG and he is again on the radar of clubs from England.

Arsenal are reported to have already launched moves in an attempt to bring him in while Everton also shows interest in 25-year-old Frenchman.

The Gunners have long been keen on the midfielder and could pair him up with compatriot Matteo Guendouzi in the middle.

Juventus are likely to demand more than £27million for Adrien Rabiot when they speak to the two English sides.
