Arsenal playmaker, Emile Smith-Rowe has marked his first start in England professional shirt, with impressive display after netted and set-up assist in the Three Lions comfortable victory over San Marino in the World Cup qualifiers match last night.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been in excellent form since start of the season, with the Englishman scored five goals and contributed two assists across all competitions for Arsenal this term.
His energetic intelligent and handsomely display in recent months earns him his first international call-up, and he came off the bench to made his debut last Friday when Gareth Southgate’s men take on Albania.
Last night, Smith-Rowe was handed his first start, and the Gunners starlet showcased series of impressive display against San Marino.
Firstly he played key role in England’s second goal of the night, which was recorded as own goal. The attacking midfielder provided an assist for Harry Kane before netting the seventh goal, scoring from a Tammy Abraham knockdown after Saka fired in a cross from the right flank.
