Alexandre Lacazette has produced one of his best performances in Arsenal shirt after inspired Mikel Arteta’s side to secured a point at London stadium in Sunday’s mouthwatering encounter with West Ham United.
The Gunners were 3-0 down inside 32 minutes before staging a stunning recovery in the thriller at the London Stadium, thanks goal to Lacazette’s half-time powerful strike and brilliant header towards the end of the match.
On-loan United winger Jesse Lingard put the homeside in front with a brilliant strike from the edge of the penalty area before Jerrod Bowen made it two while Mikel Arteta’s side failed to organise themselves for a free-kick.
Thomas Soucek made it three just after the half-hour but went from hero to villain when he deflected Alexandre Lacazette’s powerful effort beyond ex-Gunners goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski for 3-1.
The Gunners started the second-half just as well, with Alexandre Lacazette forcing Issa Diop to clear off his line. Chambers dinks a brilliant ball over the top with the outside of his foot and Lacazette reaches it, flicking the ball over the onrushing Lukasz Fabianski.

It’s on its way in but Issa Diop gets back just in time to make the clearance, but on the hour they pulled back another goal. As with the first, Calum Chambers assisted with a cross from the right, and for the second time in successive games, Dawson scored an own goal. It went in via his shin.
After heavy pressure, the Gunners equaliser eventually came with less than ten minutes to go when Alexandre Lacazette headed in a cross from Nicolas Pepe. This is one of the games of the season, and a showcase of everything that has been good and bad about both West Ham United and Arsenal.
