The 20-year-old striker has been establish himself as one of the exciting prospect in Europe, scoring 57 goals and contributing 15 assists in just 59 appearances for the German giants.
His stellar performances in arrived at Bundesliga from RB Salzburg in January last year, drawn interest from LaLiga Barcelona and Real Madrid, as well as Manchester United and Man City.
But reports by Daily Mail claim, Erling Haaland is expecting to complete a sensational move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea this summer.
The reports explain in details that Blues opened talks over a move for the Norwegian striker at the beginning of the last month – even though the full cost of a deal could be close to £170million.
Dortmund, meanwhile, stated they do not wish to sell the highly-rated forward this summer, but Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola believed his client interested in move away from Bundesliga giants if suitable offer arrived.
‘What we know as of today is that Dortmund spoke extremely solemnly to us and said: ”We are not selling him”. That’s the situation, definitely,’ Raiola told AS last month.
‘That’s what they’ve said. Now let’s see if that desire is still there through to the 1st of September.
‘Today, the official stance of Dortmund is this. But I’ve got another view, I think that if a good opportunity comes up and everyone would be happy, we’ll put it on the table.
‘Haaland is interested in two things: Scoring goals, because he’s a little bit like Cristiano [Ronaldo] or Zlatan [Ibrahimovic]… it’s his obsession, in a positive way. And winning titles.
‘No doubt he’ll pick somewhere where he feels those two things go together best for him.’
