Lukaku To Chelsea: The Belgian Star Fly To London To Completed Sensational £100m Move From Inter Milan

Romelu Lukaku has reportedly jet off to London to completing a sensational move, after Chelsea finalising a £98million deal with the Serie A Champions on Saturday evening.

After a days of negotiations over the fee and structure of the transfer, Marina Granovskaia finally reached a conclusion with Inter Milan on Saturday in order to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian international had agreed to the move earlier this week after it became clear Inter were willing to sell to alleviate financial concerns and is expected to agree terms on a contract worth around £10m a year after tax.

Lukaku, now fly to London to undergo a medical before unveil as new Chelsea player is expected to sign five-year deal with the European champions.

The deal for Lukaku does not include players as makeweights despite Marcos Alonso and Zappacosta being offered at various stages of discussions.

The 28-year-old spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge at the start of his career but only made 15 appearances for the club before heading to Everton.

He has since established himself as one of the best strikers in Europe. He scored 87 goals in 166 matches for Everton, 42 goals in 96 games for United and 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter Milan. 

The Blues still want to add a centre back with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde under discussion as Thomas Tuchel keen on strengthen his squad in bid to challenge Manchester City & co. for Premier League title in upcoming campaign.
