Arsenal powerful central midfielder Thomas Partey is “confident” he will return quickly from his injury problem, according to reports.
The Ghanaian international was forced off at half-time in Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa last Sunday due to a thigh problem.
Partey was due to link up with Ghana during the international break but he remained in London for further tests and treatment.
And according to Goal’s Arsenal correspondent Charles Watts, a source close to Partey claims the 27-year-old midfielder is “feeling pretty confident” that is injury is only minor and that he will be back “pretty soon”.
Arsenal’s first game back after the international break is their fixture against Leeds United in the Premier League next Sunday before Mikel Arteta’s side face Molde in the Uefa Europa League on November 26.
