Just In: See Frank Lampard stern warning to Chelsea stars over Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech arrivals

Frank Lampard has warned his current squad that they should up their game with the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

The Blues are desperately competing with the likes of Leicester city and Manchester United to land a spot in the Uefa Champions League next season.

But it has not stopped them from splashing out in the transfer market following their two summer transfer ban was overthrow by FIFA in January transfer window.

The Blues have failed to sign new player in January despite their transfer ban was overthrow but Frank Lampard’s & co. wasted no time now as they splashed £81million on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

However, since the Blues captured the signature of both Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, there have been suggestions that the arrival will unsettle players already at Stamford Bridge.

In response Lampard said: ‘If players come in, that should be the nature of the beast playing for Chelsea. It shouldn’t be a problem for anyone.’

Meanwhile, Chelsea still in pursuit of Leverkusen star Kai Havertz as manager Frank Lampard is desperate to kick on next season and attempt to put some pressure on title challengers Liverpool and Manchester City.
