According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have held productive talk with Jonathan David and Darwin Núñez’s agent in January but Erling Haaland is not in target by the London club.

And according to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal explored the opportunity of Jonathan David and spoke with Darwin Núñez’s agent in January but Erling Haaland is not a realistic option for Arsenal this summer.

Jonathan, 22, view as excellent option for Alexandre Lacazette replacement. The Jamaica international has established himself as one of best attacking since joined joining Les Dogues in 2020.

The centre-forward scored 13 goals last season with helping Lille secure the Ligue 1 title, while also recorded 16 so far this term in 35 appearances across all competitions.

The 22-year-old’s performances have not only been restricted to club football, as the attacker has been in a tremendous run of form for Canada as well. In just 27 outings, he has netted an impressive 20 goals and could fire his nation into the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Darwin Núñez, established himself as one of best youngest striker in the world of football. The Uruguayan has been prolific for Benfica in the previous 18 months, scoring crucial goals. This term, Nunez, 22, has netted 25 goals across all competitions.

The Gunners also monitoring likes of Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Victor Osimhem as Mikel Arteta keen on strengthen his attacking options ahead of next campaign.
