Just In: Christian Pulisic provides injury update ahead Bayern Munich clash

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has promised to be ‘back in no time’ after the hamstring injury which forced him off the pitch in the FA Cup final against local rival Arsenal at Wembley stadium on Saturday evening.

The American star had opened the scoring for Frank Lampard’s men with clever finish after good work from former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in Saturday’s behind closed door FA Cup final against Arsenal after just five minutes of the match.

But Cesar Azpilicueta conceded a penalty after dragging back Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The striker converted the spot-kick before scoring the winner mid-way through the second half.

Pulisic was carried off in the opening stages of the second half when he pulled a hamstring injury problems as bore down on the Gunners goal.

Meanwhile, Cesar Azpilicueta was also forced off with a hamstring injury in the first half, while winger Pedro, who had replaced Pulisic, suffered a shoulder injury in the closing moments of the match.
