Huge Boost: Ben Chilwell make decision about join Chelsea this summer

Leicester city defender Ben Chilwell is reportedly keen on the idea of leaving King Power Stadium to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea revolution this summer.

The 23-year-old has been Lampard’s top left-back target for some time and there is hope at Stamford Bridge that a deal can be agreed this summer.

However, the Foxes are said to value Chilwell higher than they did Harry Maguire, who was sold to Manchester United for £80million last summer but Chelsea are hopeful that he will be cheaper in the current financial climate.

And according to The Mirror, claims the England international defender keen on a move to Chelsea this summer but yet told Leicester that he wants to leave, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to seal a Champions League spot.

If Leicester city are able to secure a top four finish this season with they are currently third in the table, five points above Chelsea – it will strengthen his hopes of keeping Ben Chilwell for another season.

Reports explains in details that Brendan Rodgers has identified Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney as a potential replacement for the 23-year-old after a difficult first season at the Emirates.

Brendan Rodgers worked with the Scot at Celtic, but it is claimed that he wants to stay and prove himself under Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have beaten Liverpool to the signing of highly-rated RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

The Germany international has agreed a five-year contract worth around £180,000 a week after the Blues met his £53m release clause.
