Full Arsenal Squad Revealed For EPL Tie Vs Norwich As White Gabriel Tomiyasu And Lokonga Lead The Selection

Mikel Arteta & co. will lock horns with Norwich City at Emirates stadium this afternoon in the Premier League matchday four of the season.

The Gunners are aiming of bounce back from their three consecutive league defeats with the north London club currently in the middle of their worst start to a campaign in 67 years.

Due to illness and injuries problem, Mikel Arteta has missed majority of his first-team squad, with resulting made his side’s suffered 2-0 defeat Brentford and Chelsea before defending champions Manchester City thrashed his men’s 5-0 at Etihad before the international break.

With Arsenal splashed out over £150million on sixth players during recently closed summer transfer window and availability of such players like Partey, Gabriel, Lacazette, Saka and Aubameyang, Mikel Arteta can deliver this term despite his side’s sit bottom of the table after three league fixtures.

And ahead of Saturday’s clash against Daniel Farke’s Canaries side, Arsenal are have been handed major injury boosts after Thomas Partey, Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes were pictured taking part in training with the group since early of the week.

The Gunners trio, missed their side’s first three opening league games following Covid-19 infection and a knee injury respectively, but started group training session with their team-mates on Monday, and followed with series of impressive display in mid-week session before end it up on Friday afternoon as they ready to help their side’s start getting the point.

Takehiro Tomiyasu, who joined the north London club from Serie A side Bologna in region fee of £16million on transfer deadline day last week, also appeared at London Colney for the first time since announced as Arsenal’s sixth summer signing.

Due to international break, the versatile defender on unable to linkup with his new team-mates, but on Thursday Tomiyasu trained alongside his new team-mates for the first time while also held talks with his boss Mikel Arteta after his work permit was approved.

The Japan international, who comfortable at right-back or in central defence, showcased series of impressive display at London Colney and is expected to make his debut when Gunners face Norwich at Emirates later today.

Smith-Rowe, who battled with illness in recent days also fit for the selection after talking part during the Gunners final preparations at London Colney on Friday morning.

Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares, Martin Odegaard, Alexandre Lacazette, Kieran Tierney, Gabriel Martinelli, and Aubameyang were also in good shape as they prepared to kick-off getting point after consecutive three league defeated.
