Full Arsenal Squad Revealed For EPL Cup Tie Vs West Brom As Gabriel Send Lovely Message To Gunners Fans

Mikel Arteta & co. will be aiming to put their miserable form behind and kick-off their perfect start when they trip to the Hawthorns to lock horns with West Bromwich Albion in the second round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday.

The Gunners have lost four successive games dating back to pre-season, with their last two defeats was in the Premier League against Brentford and Chelsea.

Losses to Brentford and Chelsea without scoring a goal means Mikel Arteta’s side have endured their worst start to a Premier League season in 118 years.

The Spaniard coach will be well aware of the fact that only a comprehensive victory against West Brom will ease the pressure mounting on him.

Meanwhile, the Championships side are in red-hot form, having registered three successive victories to move up to second in the league standings in the Championship.

Valérien Ismael’s men have played free-flowing attacking football and will relish the prospect of facing an Arsenal team in turmoil.

Ahead of trip to the Hawthorns, Mikel Arteta has received huge boost concerning majority of his first-team players who wasn’t available for the selection in his side’s last two games.

Alexandre Lacazette, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Magalheas all are joined rest of Mikel Arteta’s squad at London Colney on Tuesday for preparations of Carabao Cup against the Championships side.

Lacazette, who contacted with Covid-19, missed the opening two matches of the season, defeats by Brentford and Chelsea, but the Frenchman made returned to London Colney on Tuesday and could available for trip to the Hawthorns.

Martin Odegaard, who also missed Arsenal’s defeat at Emirates last Sunday against Chelsea, due to paperwork issue after completing his £30million permanent switch from Real Madrid, has now received full clearance.

The attacking midfielder trained alongside his team-mates and is expected to feature for the Gunners against West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

Aaron Ramsdale was also among Mikel Arteta’s men, who were in good spirits at London Colney on Tuesday and the Englishman, who was named as substituted at weekend against Chelsea likely to make his debut against the Championships side.

Gabriel Martinelli and Kieran Tierney are limped out on Sunday with lower leg cramps and cramps in thigh but both returned to full training and they expected to be available for tomorrow selection against West Bromwich Albion.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Rob Holding, Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Emile Smith-Rowe, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalheas and Nicolas Pepe, were all taken part in Tuesday’s training session as Gunners looking forward to getting their first victory this season.

Meanwhile, summer signing Ben White, who also contacted with Covid-19 ahead of the Chelsea match and will not be available on Wednesday match at West Brom.

Hector Bellerin will have a late check on a thigh problem while Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah, Willian and Alex Runarsson, all are totally rule out for the selection due to their respectively injuries problems.

Gabriel Magalheas, meanwhile, took his Instagram account to send a lovely message to Arsenal fans across the continent, after the Brazilian defender made returned to London Colney.
