(FT) BAY 3-1 DOR: Lewandowski And Muller Amazing Strike Hand Bayern Munich German Super Cup Title

Bayern Munich have secured German Super Cup title after beating their own worst enemies Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday evening.

The Bavarians made perfect start to the game and found themselves lead through Robert Lewandowski, who unmarked to net a thumping header towards the end of half-time.

And an error from Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel allowed Thomas Muller to tap into an empty net on a night where both clubs united to remember his namesake, the late Gerd Muller.

Dortmund skipper Marco Reus curled a brilliant strike into the top corner to give hope to a delighted home crowd but a mistake from Manuel Akani allowed Robert Lewandowski to bag a brace and make it 3-1.
