Do You Pleasing: Watch Kai Havertz brilliant performer for Blues in 3-1 win over Brighton

Kai Havertz has just made little impact during his Chelsea’s debut as he side eased past Brighton 3-1 at the Amex Stadium on Monday night.

The German attacking midfielder was turning out for the west London club for the time following his big-money move from Leverkusen as Frank Lampard’s side opened their league campaign with 3-1 win away to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 21-year-old lined up alongside Timo Werner in a rejuvenated Blues attack, with the German, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount behind the former RB Leipzig striker in a 4-2-3-1.

Havertz has struggled to impose himself on the game against Brighton side but managing 38 touches during his time on the pitch for the west London side.

The attacking midfielder has completed 88 per cent of his 25 attempted passes but managed to complete only one pass into Brighton’s penalty area.

Despite the 21-year-old struggled during his debut for Chelsea, there’s more to come from the highly-rated attacking midfielder, who scored 18 goals and contributed nine assists in all competitions for Leverkusen last season.

He has only arrived around a week earlier, and would likely need some time to adapt to the new system and new team-mates but hopeful he made huge impression when Chelsea host defending champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
