Checkout Chelsea Team News, Kick-off Time, Venue For Bournemouth Clash As Pulisic, Ziyech, And Mendy Set To Start

Thomas Tuchel & co. will trip to south coast of England to take on Bournemouth in their second pre-season friendly match of the summer on Tuesday evening at the Vitality stadium.

The Blues started their pre-season friendly campaign with a 6-1 victory over Peterborough United in a behind-closed-doors, after couple of training session at Cobham training base.

Thomas Tuchel’s men, then trip to Ireland Dublin for another series of training session, in which contest likes closed doors against Drogheda United supposed to be followed.

However, after couple of days training session in Dublin, match between the Blues and Irish outfit cancelled because of Covid-19 case within the group, and as result of that the Blues to play another 90-minute between themselves before return to Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s men now switch their attention to their remaining pre-season friendly match fixtures, which is starting tomorrow evening against Championship side Bournemouth.

Heading into the game, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner all returned to Chelsea training on Saturday.

However, those six players will almost certainly miss the trip to the South Coast, handing further opportunities to members of the squad who did not feature in a major tournament this summer.

Edouard Mendy, Marcos Alonso, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Tammy Abraham should all start on Tuesday evening.

The Blues, then trip to Emirates stadium to take on Arsenal in the Mind Series tournament on August 1st at 3:00pm before host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on August 4th at 7:45pm.

Thomas Tuchel & co. then heading to Belfast for the Super Cup against Villarreal on August 11 before start their 2021/22 Premier League season on August 14 at home to Crystal Palace.
