Thomas Partey arrived in London ahead of switch to Emirates stadium

Thomas Partey has reportedly boarded a plane to London to complete his move to Arsenal after the Gunners informed Spanish capital club that they will be triggering the Ghana international’s £45million release clause.

Atletico Madrid refused to negotiate with the Gunners as they did not want to lose their key midfielder.

But the Spanish side are powerless to stop Mikel Arteta’s side from completing a deal because of his exit clause.

Thomas Partey faces a race against time to get to the Arsenal offices and sign the registration forms before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: ‘Thomas Partey is now flying to London!

‘Atletico Madrid board have received the notification 1 hour ago from Arsenal for Thomas.

‘AFC are set to trigger the release clause for €50m tonight, race against time then… here-we-go.

After hour later Fabrizio Romano has confirmed through twitter that Partey has arrived in London ahead of completing his switch to Emirates stadium.

Gunners secured the signed two youngsters today.

Nikolaj Duus Möller (18), signs from Swedish side Malmo for around €500k.

Nikolaj Moller is reportedly set to complete a move from Malmo to Arsenal on deadline day after undergoing a medical at London Colney training ground – and Goal claim the teenager will pen a four-year deal with Gunners.

Moller, 18, returned to Malmo in January after leaving the Swedish side in the summer of 2018 to join Italian side Bologna – where he lasted 18 months. He is yet to make his professional debut at senior level, even for Malmo.

Dubbed the ‘new Ibra’ after Zlatan Ibrahimovic during his brief stint at Bologna – given his Swedish nationality and 6ft 4in frame – Moller is now on his way to Arsenal, firstly reported by Swedish website Aftonbladet.

Moller has since changed his Instagram bio, confirming he is an Arsenal player. Goal have now reported that Moller will join the club for a fee of £450,000, after undergoing a medical on Monday afternoon – where he will sign a four-year deal.

Arsenal are also completed sign Hertha Berlin teenager Omar Rekik for a fee of £900,000.

Meanwhile, Matteo Guendouzi has completed his season loan move to Hertha Berlin.
