Nicolas Tagliafico willing to join Arsenal in the summer
Arsenal are reportedly plotting a summer move for Ajax full back Nicolas Tagliafico with Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his defence options ahead of next campaign.
Tagliafico, 27, established himself as one of the top left-back in Europe, having guide the Dutch side to the Uefa Champions League semi-finals last season.
However, the Argentine is reportedly seeking a new challenge and The Sun claims the 27-year-old is open to a move away from Amsterdam this summer.
Chelsea, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have interested in the full-back, but according to latest reports Gunners in front to sign the 27-year-old, with boss Mikel Arteta keen to bring in a new left back to allow Bukayo Saka to move further upthe field to play a more advanced role.
The same report suggests that Tagliafico is open to a move to north London, and is eager to challenge himself in the demanding Premier League.
He has an agreement with Ajax that will allow him to leave in the summer should an acceptable offer, thought to be around the £20million region, for his services be received.
Tagliafico has scored six goals in 68 appearances for the Dutch giants since joining in 2018.
Willian hints he will sign a short-term contract to stay at Chelsea
Chelsea winger Willian has admitted that he is likely to sign a short-term deal until the end of the season but he will depart when 2019/20 campaign come to an end.
The 31-year-old is out-of-contract at the club on June 30 but with the English Premier League likely to restart next month, a short-term deal is set to be agreed between both parties so Willian can play the rest of the season stretching into July and August.
The Brazilian star has been linked with other Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Tottenham, with Chelsea offering just a two-year extension as opposed to the three years requested by Willian, who as a result is likely to be available on a free transfer.
‘It’s a difficult situation because Chelsea offered me two years and they are not going to change what they offered. I said I wanted three more years,’ the winger told Brazilian outlet Esporte Interativo, as reported by Goal.
‘The situation is difficult because of this. I really don’t know if it will be possible [to stay]. My goal is to continue working and focus on the remainder of the season, so that Chelsea can continue winning games.
‘I have a clear head and I’m focused for the rest of the season that we have left. I think it’s difficult[to stay]. Let’s see what happens.’
Arsenal made move for Joelson Fernandes
Arsenal have reportedly interested in signing Sporting Libson youngster Joelson Fernandes in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have joined Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the race to sign the 17-year-old winger, who has been likened to his compatriot and legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Portuguese publication Record suggested that Arsenal have advantage in the race for the youngster due to his agent being Kia Joorabchian, who has a good relationship with clubs in England.
The reports added that Sporting are trying to convince the Portuguese teenager to sign a new contract with a release clause of £89.63million.
Joelson’s current contract has a release clause of £40.34 million and Gunners need to activated his clause in order to secure the signature of talented winger.
Arsenal made move for Kaan Kurt despite lack of first-team action
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing talented German-Turkish youngster Kaan Kurt.
The 18-year-old right-back currently contracted to Borussia Monchengladbach but has yet to make a senior appearance for the club.
And according to The Sun the Gunners, as well as Premier League rivals Chelsea, are interested in a move for the player who would be available for a fee in the region of£4 million.
Kurt, who can also play at left-back, has played 25 times for Gladbach’s second-string and is a youth international for the Germany under-19 side whilst also featuring for Turkey at under-17 level.
Achraf Hakimi’s agent confirms defender will return to Real Madrid
Achraf Hakimi’s agent has confirmed the defender will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been linked with the Moroccan international, who is now entering the final months of his two-year loan spell at German giants Borussia Dortmund.
Achraf’s agent Alejandro Camano, when asked about an alleged approach from Italian club Inter Milan, told El Mundo Deportivo: ‘There is no such offer. We will return to Madrid.’
Inter To Use Fee From Mauro Icardi’s Transfer To PSG To Sign Arsenal’s Aubameyang
Inter Milan will use the funds received from the transfer of Mauro Icardi to Paris Saint-Germain to sign Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, claims by newspaper Libero.
The report details how PSG have offered the Nerazzurri £50million in cash as well as £10million in add-ons that aren’t easily triggered.
Paris Saint-Germain want to close out the deal before the end of May, the report continues, because otherwise they would have to renegotiate Icardi’s contract.
Inter Milan simply want to sell the 27-year-old as he is not needed for coach Antonio Conte’s project and his sale would give them the funds to sign Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.
The two clubs agreed upon a figure of £70 million last summer, and so the Nerazzurri aren’t keen to accept this offer.
Both parties are still negotiating and Inter may be willing to accept a deal of £60 million in cash with £10 million in bonuses.
