However, the deal will not take place until the Spanish club offload a player of their own, with Hector Herrera said to be close to an exit.

Thomas Partey exciting stance

Thomas Partey would be willing to join Arsenal this summer should Mikel Arteta’s side agree a fee with Atletico Madrid before transfer closes on October 5.

That’s according to, who claimed the midfielder is still very much an Arsenal target despite Mikel Arteta’s interest in Houssem Aouar.

However, while that’s the case, Thomas Partey would be willing to stay with Atletico Madrid.

He’s not signed a new contract with the La Liga giants, despite Diego Simeone wanting to tie him down for the future. And what ultimately happens is something only time will tell.
