Inter Milan chief gives Arsenal hope on Eriksen front

Christian Eriksen’s future at San Siro appears to be on shaky group, with the Ex-Spur playmaker falling out of favour under Antonio Conte.

The 28-year-old Denmark international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A side with both Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly interested in bring him back to England.

Erisken, who moved to San Siro last January, is likely to leave the club in winter transfer window, as new Inter chief Beppe Marotta has been little direct progress towards his exit.

‘Conte has already spoken about it thoroughly. I can just add that we do not certainly have to force a player to stay when he asks to leave,’ Marotta told DAZN, as quoted by Sky Sports.

‘We will have to evaluate the situation. Now he is available for Conte, who has been making him play in [Eriksen’s] respect and in the club’s respect.

‘Up to now, we have not received any request from Eriksen, but at the right time we will try to find the right combinations.’

Dominik Szoboszlai sets timeline to decide on future

RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been on the radar of Arsenal for some time, but the Gunners aren’t the only club looking to sign him.

German side RB Leipzig have also been linked with the 20-year-old attacking midfielder, as have a number of clubs in Italy’s Serie A including Napoli and AC Milan.

And according to The Inside Futbol though, Dominik Szoboszlai will wait until after the conclusion of this season’s Champions League group stage before determining his future.

Dominik Szoboszlai has scored twice for the Austrian champions in their three group games, but they currently sit bottom of Group A after drawing with Lokomotiv Moscow and losing to Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Szoboszlai, who has been operating in a left-sided midfield role, has netted five times and provided nine assists from 14 appearances in all competitions this season, including two goals in three Champions League games.

This comes after his stellar 2019/20 campaign yielded 12 goals and 18 assists from 40 appearances.

Dominik Szoboszlai has racked up 12 senior Hungary appearances after making his international debut as an 18-year-old in March 2019.

Isco’s agent opens up on Spaniard’s next move

Isco looks set to leave Santiago Bernabeu sooner rather than later after struggling for minutes under Zinedine Zidane this season, starting just three games since the start of the campaign.

The Spaniard playmaker could even move as early as January, if comments from his father and agent Paco Alarcon are anything to go by.

‘Right now we have not received offers, but he wants to try another league,’ Alarcon told El Larguero, alerting Arsenal and any other potential interested parties.

While Isco’s father said it would be ‘no problem’ if his son stays in Madrid until the summer, a lack of minutes could harm the player’s chances of making Spain’s squad for next summer’s European Championship.

The 28-year-old played in all four of his country’s games at the 2018 World Cup, but his last Spanish cap came in June 2019.

With Mikel Arteta’s side return to action on Thursday in the Europa League game against Molde, starlet Bukayo Saka, Willian is doubt for the clash.

Bukayo Saka

Having featured three times for England over the recent international break, Saka would have been hoping for the chance to catch his breathe against Leeds United.

However, the 19-year-old academy graduate was called into action just six minutes into the second-half, being forced to come on and cover for Nicolas Pepe, who was sent off.

However, the starlet didn’t finish the contest as he came off worse in a 50-50 challenge and suffered a blow to his knee. Arsenal have yet to issue an update on the severity of the problem – meaning he doubt for Thursday encounter with Molde.

And is likely to miss Thursday’s encounter with Molde but is expected to return to action this weekend when Mikel Arteta’s side clash with Wolverhampton Wanderer at Emirates stadium.

Both Mohamed Elneny and Sead Kolasinac will also be absent after testing positive for coronavirus recently.
