Swedish billionaire Daniel Ek is set to launch a takeover bid for Arsenal with the help of Patrick Viera, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

Daniel, co-founder and chief executive of music streaming service Spotify, has enlisted three of Arsenal’s legendary ‘Invincibles’ to help him purchase the club from current owner Stan Kroenke.

Daniel Ek first expressed an interest in buying Arsenal last week, after fans protested outside the Emirates stadium against Kroenke’s ownership and his involvement in the failed breakaway European Super League.

However, according to The Telegram, Ek launch Arsenal takeover bid with three of club invincible legends, with are Patrick Viera, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

The reports explain in details that all three former players have expressed past desires to return to Arsenal, and Ek believes they have “invaluable” knowledge of the football club.

Arsenal identify key transfer target for this summer

Arsenal have reportedly will back Mikel Arteta in market this summer to bringing in new right-back, left-back and attacking midfielder, with Martin Odegaard, who joined the club on temporary from Real Madrid remains their top target.

Odegaard, 22, established himself as a key cog in Mikel Arteta’s midfield, brought quality, composure and an ‘incredible’ work-rate, since arriving on loan from Real Madrid in January.

Athletic also reportedly that Arsenal are look to sell at least four players this summer in a bid to raise funds for new signings.

The Gunners are open to selling Ainsley Maitland-Niles & Eddie Nketiah, while Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira are both expected to be sold. Sead Kolasinac remains likely to leave and Joe Willock impressive form for Newcastle could see him return to first-team next season.

William Saliba will return for pre-season ahead of next season while Dinos Mavropanos will either go out on loan for another campaign or depart in a permanent move.

Official: Folarin Balogun extend his stay at Emirates beyond this summer

Folarin Balogun has sign a long-term contract with Arsenal after Mikel Arteta and Gunners technical director Edu Gasper held a productive talks with the highly-rated forward representative.

The 19-year-old academy graduate looked set for the exit door at the Emirates Stadium with his contract set to expire in the summer, but he pledged his future to the Gunners until 2025.

After a series of strong performances in Arsenal’s Europa League campaign, Balogun has shot himself into contention for the starting place in North London. 

Balogun, who regarded as one of the best young forwards in the country, shown his potential in his fleeting appearances for Arsenal’s first team this season, scoring twice in five substitute appearances.

Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry named as first inductees

Premier League record goal scorer Alan Shearer and four-time Premier League Golden Boot winner Thierry Henry have today been announced as the first two players to be named in the official Premier League Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame recognises and celebrates the exceptional skill and talent of individuals who have graced the Premier League since its inception in 1992. It is the highest individual honour awarded to players by the League.

And both Gunners icon Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer named as first inductees, because of their great achievement in Premier League.

Alan Shearer has been inducted as the League’s record goal scorer, having netted 260 goals across 14 Premier League seasons.

Thierry Henry won the Premier League’s Golden Boot award a record four times and scored a club record 175 Premier League goals in 258 appearances for Arsenal. He netted more than 20 Premier League goals in five consecutive seasons between 2001 and 2006.

Following his move to Arsenal in 1999, Henry won the Premier League title twice and was a key member of the ‘Invincibles’ team which went unbeaten during the 2003/04 title-winning season. Along with his scoring prowess, Henry contributed 74 assists during eight Premier League seasons, including a joint-record 20 in 2002/03.

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke makes decision on Mikel Arteta future after Europa League exit

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke will not sack Mikel Arteta before the start of next season despite the club’s knockout of Europa League on Thursday, according to reports.

The Gunners had crashed out of European competitions with a whimper, drawing 0-0 at home to Villarreal to lose the 2-1 on aggregate.

Despite Mikel Arteta start Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe and Bukayo Saka in front-line against Villarreal, they managed just one shot on target and they failed to broken the deadlock in a match they simply had to win.

As a result their hopes of qualifying for European football next season is over due to their miserable form in the Premier League that saw them sit ninth position on league standings.

However, according to several media, including Mirror and Daily Mail, Arsenal hierarchy are prepared to give the Spaniard the summer window to rebuild a hugely-underperforming squad.

It is understood the Arsenal hierarchy are not convinced that an immediate change in their managerial position is necessary, with the unusual circumstances of this Covid hit season providing some mitigation.

The French news outlet claim that Mikel Arteta’s side have submitted a €9million (£7.8 million) bid for the 24-year-old, who PSG signed from Schalke 04 for €37million (£32 million) in 2018.

But reports by Paris Fans, explains in details that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are happy to sell Kehrer this summer, the Gunners want to using the opportunities to bringing in the 9-camp Germany international.

It is mentioned in the report that PSG would like €25 million (£21.6 million) for their No.4, means Gunners need to increase their offer if they want to signing the defender.
