Chelsea and Arsenal keen on talented Turkish teenage striker Ali Akman

Chelsea and Arsenal are among the Premier League giants tracking Turkey U21 international striker Ali Akman.

The talented 18-year-old is playing for Bursaspor’s first team and has caught the attention of Europe’s elite with nine goals in 16 games already this term.

Akman, who Red Bull Salzburg and Galatasaray made attempts to sign him in December, has six months remaining on contract, and is not intending to sign a new deal with his club, means Bursaspor are willing to listen to offers now rather than risk losing him for minimum compensation in the summer.

And according to The Dailymail, claim both Chelsea and Arsenal are among those to show an interest in signing the talented forward, who available for £3million.

Ross Barkley future

Chelsea are reportedly interested in sell Ross Barkley but could not allow the central midfielder leave on the cheap.

The Englishman is currently on a season-long loan at Aston Villa and despite he has impressed in the Midlands, there is uncertainty over his long term future.

Dean Smith’s side have been linked with Bournemouth starlet David Brooks who represents a younger and potentially cheaper alternative to Ross Barkley.

And according to the Birmingham Live via Daily Star, claim Chelsea would still seek a big fee for Barkley, who has two and a half years left on his contract in west London. He is also on around £100,000 a week.

Fikayo Tomori to Newcastle United

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in taking Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on a loan for the rest of the season.

The England international has been restricted on playing time this season following the arrival of Thiago Silva and standout performances of Kurt Zouma at the heart of the Chelsea defence.

However, Lampard has hinted that the full-back could head out on loan this month and Newcastle, who have scouted the centre-back on a number of occasions keen on luring him this month and handed a regular playing time.

Boost for Dayot Upamecano chase

Chelsea have been handed a boost in the race to sign RB Leipzig full-back Dayot Upamecano.

The defender is wanted by a whole host of top European clubs after impressing in the Bundesliga.

However, RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has openly admitted the club would be willing to sell their top star players – with Upamecano certainly falling into that category.

‘We have a squad that is very broad in terms of quality,’ he said, via Manchester Evening News.

‘So we will sell top performers again if it makes financial sense and we can cope with it from a sporting point of view.’
