
Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has showcased series of impressive displays in Scotland 2-0 win over Moldona in the World Cup Qualifiers match at Zimbru Stadium on Friday evening.
The 24-year-old full-back, who missed Arsenal last couple of games due to injury problem made returned to action on Friday, and played the full 90 minutes against Moldova.
After Nathan Patterson and Che Adams bagged two lovely goals for Steve Clarke’s side, Moldova were awarded a penalty towards the end of the match.
That penalty was saved by Craig Gordon, but a big thanks to Kieran Tierney, who produced moment of magic by delivered a brilliant clearance.
The Gunners star hacked the ball away after the Hearts shot-stopper could only parry the penalty attempt back into the danger zone.
It was impressive defensive play from the ex-Celtic man, who will be looking to replicate that with Arsenal in the Premier League when face Liverpool at Anfield next week.
