Chelsea transfer target Romelu Lukaku has scored a stunning header to put Inter Milan ahead of Sassuolo this evening.
The Belgian star scored his 27th goal of the season by get in front of his marker to meet Young’s cross and guides his header into the far corner.
Meanwhile, several British media have reporting this evening that the Blues are willing to offer £86million to tempt Inter Milan into letting Romelu Lukaku return to Stamford Bridge this summer, but only if they miss out on Erling Haaland.
Dortmund star Erling Haaland, who scored 33 goals in 33 appearances for German giant this season, remains prime target on owner Roman Abramovich’s wishlist, with Belgian striker Lukaku an option if a move for the Norwegian fails to materialise.
According several British media, including Daily Mail and Daily Star, claim, Chelsea are prepared to put their money where their mouth is and pay more than £80m for the player, who only made 15 appearances in all competitions during his four years in west between 2011 and 2014.
Lukaku has been in superb goalscoring form this season with 27 goals in 36 matches for Inter, helping them to the top of Serie A by eight points with a game in hand.
